Paint & finishes
From a correct cellulose finish to stabilising paint that is a century old, Kevin brings an unsurpassed attention to detail to every surface.
Our award-winning paint specialist works in a dedicated spray booth. We offer many years of experience in correct cellulose finishes and polishing, and in traditional brush painting.
Signwriting and lining
We can add signwriting, hand-paint numbers onto bodywork, make traditional number plates and apply professional pinstriping and coachlines, all in the manner of the period.
Old paint, kept alive
Sometimes the right finish is the one a car already has. Kevin’s particular skill is working with old paint: stabilising it, and generally breathing new life into it, so that a car’s patina and history stay visible. On the Bentley boat-tail, the original cream colour was found beneath the panel work and on the timber frame, confirmed by period photographs, and reinstated.

Metal
Panels gas-welded and shaped by hand on the English wheel. Julian can make almost any form from metal.
Wood
One of the last workshops with its own ash-frame specialist, splicing in new timber and keeping as much of the original as possible.
