Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification or other assistive technology.

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not had the site formally audited, so we do not claim full conformance.

What we have done

• Every page can be used with a keyboard, and a “Skip to main content” link is the first thing on each page.
• Photographs have text descriptions, and form fields have visible labels.
• Text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content, and the layout works on small screens.
• Movement and animation are switched off if your device is set to reduce motion.
• Colour is never the only way information is shown.

Known limitations

• Videos are played through YouTube, whose player we do not control. Not every video has accurate captions.
• Some printable vehicle histories are PDF files that may not work well with screen readers. We are happy to send the same information in another format.
• Descriptions on some older automobilia listings are brief.
