This original, boat-tailed model from the early 1920s is rightly considered one of the "Grand Prix" of pedal cars, known worldwide for its realistic styling and craftsmanship.

Condition and Authenticity

 

This Eureka EK 02 is a highly original example, retaining many period features:

• Original Finish: The car appears to retain its original red and blue contrast paint, showcasing a wonderful patina that speaks to its century-long life.

• Adjustable Seating: The seat unit is adjustable, allowing a little driver of changing heights to enjoy the car for many years. The seat also retains its original rexine cover.

• Working Mechanism: The pedal driving mechanism is in working order, possessing the delicate operation appropriate for a vehicle of this age.

Period Modifications

 

A slight, period-specific modification is evident: at one point, the original Marchal lights were carefully changed to working electric lights, and a battery box was attached to the front bulkhead. This small detail adds an interesting chapter to the car's history and shows how it was used and enjoyed in its early life.
