Conservation and Coach Building

The processes of conservation, conservative repair and coach building can only work in a harmonious manner if there is clear and honest communication between us and the client.

This has to start with an understanding as to what the customer’s expectations and requirements are, and for us to advise them on the various options, whilst still working within our guiding principles. We will outline our methods of low intervention repairs and the importance of stabilising the vehicle.

Clearly, all of our projects present their own challenges and it is of utmost importance for us to find a balance between ideas, practicality and costs, all working towards leaving the vehicle in a more presentable and stable condition. During conservation processes, various different skills will be required, most of which we undertake in house. These specialist skills ranges from bodywork and wooden sub frames, to paint, upholstery, electrical and mechanical work.
